Artist Christopher Michael releases his latest single “Legend of the Sunrise Kidd.” Produced by JAM, this single features stellar production going toe-to-toe with the Brooklyn-emcee who bars his way through the second single from his forthcoming album “Ghetto University.”

Reminiscent of Kanye West’s “Touch the Sky.” “Legend of the Sunrise Kidd” features elements of a by-gone hip-hop era. The song showcases blaring horns, underlined soul, triumph, and flashes of musical brilliance; the tried-and-true east-coast flow alongside the attention-demanding production blends with little difficulty.

As mentioned before, Michael himself is no slouch either as he figures out a way to navigate the overpowering production to his benefit. “Keep your mothafuckin’ hands high, this is it, the legend of the sunrise.” declares Michael, determined to showcase his verbal fluidity to the listener.

Michael is not alone, as fellow artist Blaque Alex offers his lyrical services to the track's final verse. What concludes is a track designed to please those in need of their hip-hop fix.
