Rapper Stacey Rosé collaborates with Stretch Money on his newest single “Static.” A song exploring the inner machinations of an epilogue to a success story. Enjoying the fruits of their labor, this is a song that is equal parts inspiring and triumphant.

Guided with a modernized Detroit-sound, this song details the glorification of narratives surrounding inner-city come-up routes. Rosé confidently boasts his way through his verse while showcasing his exceptional penmanship.

This song also tells the story of personal triumph. Stretch Money’s verse explores a fall from grace and concludes with his eventual redemption. Stretch details a world that once gave up on the Detroit artist. “I was really hurt, had to act fine and y’all laughed at me like a rap line.” remarks Stretch, who concludes by boldly claiming. “I Couldn’t get a call, now I get a call and I’m quick to act like I don’t have time.”

Keeping an unabating pace through the track, Rosé and Stretch become adamant in letting everyone know their time is now, and they’ll enjoy every second along the way. Overall, displaying consistent chemistry, building a song poetic enough to paint the picture of a Detroit hustler’s success story while remaining relatable throughout.
