TeeShondra’s EP “Anywhere” offers a vibe-heavy, four-song adventure, showing the singer embracing her unwavering realness with relatable themes. Throughout this EP, TeeShondra effortlessly showcases soothing talent, creating a project that’s poetically expressed, with R&B intent.

From the EP’s opening track, “Miscellaneous.” TeeShondra lets you know just who she is and what she’s about, creating a tone-setting experience to the EP’s neo-soul-esk thematic feel. “Miscellaneous.” much like the entire EP, offers sleek instrumentation and beats that allow the songstress to thrive. TeeShondra throughout this EP, offers quite the juxtaposition with her voice as the central instrument, being emotionally raw and expressively open throughout the project, matching the EP’s aesthetic while simultaneously avoiding the instrumental's passive feel.

Throughout this EP, TeeShondra’s songwriting abilities are an undeniable highlight, as she comes across confident in her needs and desires. However, what takes center stage remains in her vocal prowess, as she’s able to use her vocal strength alongside her lyrics to create a fluid conversation. She utilizes her voice as a guide to dictate emotional lines that tell a story within a story.

“Anywhere” attempts to guide us on an emotional roller coaster, one that deals with themes surrounding relationships, sex, love, lust, and the headaches associated with dating. Addressing old-blasé lovers and, oftentimes, speaking on experiences that created the artist she’s become.

“Anywhere" although only four songs, provides an enjoyable listen. From the deceptively sensual “Honey” to the Caribbean flavored “Fire and Desire” featuring Chad Roto, this EP offers a brief, but straightforward listen to this highly recommendable project.
