Breez’s latest project, “Hiiigher Goal.” is one that feels equal parts triumphant and strategically artistic. The emcee provides some of his most captivating bars to date, creating songs that feel more testimonial than creatively expressive. Throughout the album of “Hiiigher Goal.” You will find yourself understanding more of Breez's life story, just as much as you’ll enjoy his rather impressive verbal skills.

“Hiiigher Goal” revels as a 101 class in rapping and a proper introduction to the entrepreneur, chef, and master of ceremony known as Breez, who uses this project to establish himself as one of the game’s lyrical titans. “I fought my way through pain, and I still remain.” preaches Breez in the appropriately titled “Still Remain.” A track that would be merely tribute and lip service if uttered by someone else. However, Breez’s lyrical skill, story, and trademark verbal conviction allow for songs like this to have emotional depth.

This album thrives by providing some of the most creatively executed verses because Breez ties in all his life experiences with catchy sports references into a swirl where nothing seems disconnected. Breez allows his personal life, his ambitions, and his failures to volley between one another without crossing the line of over-sharing or losing you as a listener.

Production-wise, Breez blends well with producer AP, who, throughout this album, crafts beats that feel personally created for Breez himself.  Standout beats like “Music In My Veins” allow for Breez to feel right at home and create music that’s grand in its execution.

Overall, “Hiiigher Goal” is an album with little to no hiccups and is a pretty good listen for those unfamiliar with the emcee’s work. This project is one worth listening to and appreciating for its production and lyrical presence.
