Shooter SZN is Here.

Rappers and artists have become storytellers of their environment.  They’re the truth-tellers of their grind, so when one artist blows up from the depths of nowhere, the public becomes infatuated with their story and the artist’s lore. This is very much the case with Shooterville’s own, Shooter Mcshootem. Having been described as a cross between the penmanship of Detroit rapper Royce da 5’9 with the trigger finger of Looney Tune’s Yosemite Sam, Mcshootem’s rise to the top has been both enthralling and threatening.

Mcshootem, who captivated the world with five simple words, “I’ll shoot this bitch up.” Allowed the world a look into his daily truth consisting of shooting, robbing, and being about a life many have only seen on the silver screen in gangster films during the mid-’90s.

"I.S.T.B.U." has gone on to viral success and critic praise, opening the door to McShootem’s first project, “Active Shooter,” An album that shows his life consisting of successful actions of violence, fear tactics, and the occasional sexcapade with several women. McShootem’s debut album led to immediate success, still boasting a perfect rating on websites such as Amazon.com.

Mcshootem has proven to be both a successful artist and a man of the fans, providing his phone number in a youtube video that advertises hit jobs.

Outside of music, Mcshootem is an anomaly who possesses an aura of mystery around himself and his outside engagements. His affiliations are near non-existent to find. While some claim Mcshootem to have gang-affiliation with the Crips, there is no substantial evidence to suggest this as truth. Documented evidence shows that his sole allegiance is with his hometown of Shooterville and anyone willing to pay for Shooter to have someone “taken care of.”

But for those wondering, McShootem is more than a gun for hire, as he is more anti-hero than a villain. Having a brief interaction with the emcee, quickly you will find that he has a code of honor and a method to his meaning. According to McShootem, one of his goals is to "Rid the world of busters and expose wack hoes.”

For lack of better words, McShootem is more of a hood superhero rather than a villain. This information was also evident through one of his latest videos titled "Its On." During the video, a keen eye could spot several names on his hit-list such as Hitler and Lion King antagonist Scar, two notorious villains.

McShootem’s actions empathize judgment and hood repercussions, as he looks to create justice, where society may have missed.

As an artist, McShootem is as versatile as they get, from making world-class diss records such as his one-sided decimation of rapper six-nine to delicate love songs such as his album outro “IJWH.” He’s proven to be reliable in every facet of artistry.

And while McShootem took a step back following his debut album, he has since stepped back into public view with the release of his new album “Certified Shooter Sh*t."

Prior to the album’s release, beginning early of 2021,  Mcshootem began introducing a series of haunting and entertaining stories titled "ShooterTales," which chronicle Mcshootem's adventures as a... well, shooter.

These videos show Mcshootem recalling past tales of executing devious deeds, from receiving calls to shoot someone to downright robbing someone for disrespecting the culture. These videos provide the public with a backstory into Mcshootem's heavily veiled outside life while letting everyone know that his time to shine is now. According to Mcshooter himself, "It's #ShooterSZN."
