Single - Janelle Monáe “Turntables”

Janelle Monae releases the single "Turntables" for the upcoming Amazon original film "All In: A Fight For Democracy." Monae, who can be considered politically progressive in most cases, takes this approach full force during this track. "The whole world about to testify and the tables bout to turn" declares Monea over triumphant drums and powerful horns.

"Turntables" strength is in it's political innuendos which capture the imagination. As old-school phrases like "You fu**ed up the kitchen, you got to do the dishes." Make their way to the forefront of the tracks lyric output.

Monae makes the most out of this track, hopefully providing an indication to a new project in the coming months.
