Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams recently released their single "Entrepreneur." a song filled with to the brim with hidden messages, double entendres, and the classic Neptune sound.
While Pharrell does most of the heavy lifting through the song, whispering through his verses. Heeding warnings of the dangers that follow the black independence of African American entrepreneurship, he takes up the job of hookman as well, crafting a catchy hook to match.
Jay-Z, who's reached the status of "Iconic" contributes a healthy verse, reminiscent of a grizzled veteran explaining the pitfalls associated with the potential downfalls of black success.
Overall, the two artist create an interesting listen if nothing else.
