Single Review- “Hypnotizing” by Ripjacub

“Hypnotizing” by Ripjacub features much of the classic formulas associated with the popularized tunes of club-ready, love-struck R&B tracks. Showcasing the talents of the singer, who released the track on his birthday, this song is equal parts night-time drive showcased jam-session and equal parts radio-ready. This song falls somewhere between a well-crafted pop song and R&B post-confessions Usher.

This song is catchy in its presentation, remaining lyrically simple enough to not go over your head but good enough to remain poetically sweet. Ripjacub finds a solid niche between finding blending pop lyrics and laying vocals well enough to showcase his exceptional vocal talents.

Production-wise, this song is as good as they come. With a beat that supports the club-ready aesthetic, the simplistic drums find just enough freedom to remain expressive but never overpowering or out of place. Ripjacub takes full advantage of this production blessing, maximizing his efforts.

Overall “Hypnotizing.” is a song you should check out if you’re booking for a new flavor of R&B that presents catchy energy and a solid showcase of the singer’s talents.
