On Iniko’s new EP “Both of Them.” The singer/songwriter showcases two songs, both featuring superior production and champion-level songwriting that displays honest and emotionally vulnerable lyrics. Creating what turns out to be a very light listen and a great warm-up towards a full-length project.

“Both of Them,” a play on Iniko’s pronouns, they/them, operate to showcase the multi-talented artist’s vast skillset. This is evident through the EP’s opening track “Motion,” where the tracks sleek R&B sound is smoothly offset by the lyrics as Iniko coos. "I can be the place that you run to baby come through, you a fantasy.”

What follows is the project's second and final track, "Caught a Body," a synth-heavy-celeste-backed beat. Iniko creates a seductive enigma throughout this song, as they shine in displaying their, songwriting, and vocal prowess. Iniko showcases their harmonious talents to its fullest value. Creating the perfect sample size to show the world their talents.

What’s best about this EP is its high replay value. With the EP running a little over six-minutes, its finished before you know it, but leaves you wanting far more.

By this EP’s conclusion, you’ll find yourself asking the question of “just how good is Iniko?” While there are only two songs, each of them focuses on their own ambiance. “Motion” shows Iniko as an impassioned lover, and “Caught a Body” creates a sultry air of mystery. In its finality, Iniko proves themselves as more than capable of creating musical gems with this EP.

If nothing else, this EP serves as a great indicator of just how talented Iniko truly maybe. Offering two songs that’s worth giving a few listens.
