Stan The III is an anomaly in music. As the rapper routinely puts together verses that rival mainstream artists in terms of creativity. You'll be hard-pressed to find an artist with more versatility in delivery, sound, and range of styles. Despite Stan having the tools in his ever-impressive kit, he's never put together a full-length project until now.  "To Whom It May Concern." An 11-song album that allows Stan to thrive in all aspects of artistry.

"To Whom It May Concern," Is the perfect showcase for Stan. His subject matter is easily digestible, and his choices in production never show signs of threatening to become uncomfortable or too sporadic. Any outside factors that could damage his body of work, such as production or guest features, are in tip-top shape throughout this project. The success of this project, in terms of quality, is solely up to Stan to deliver.

The subject matter throughout “To Whom It May Concern.” Revolve around topics of love, women, and millennial situationships that we all have some familiarity with. What separates this album’s subject matter from previous songs is Stan’s praise-worthy delivery.

Throughout this project, Stan’s voice is melodic at times, smooth when necessary, and is willing to change and stretch its chameleon-like nature, should the track require the change.

From the very start of this album, there’s a charm that comes through in Stan’s presence. With unappreciated wittiness infused with occasional verbal confidence, what makes this project special is his sureness. This is evident in songs like “Earthly Wonders.” Where he effortlessly glides across the velvet-smooth production.

Throughout this project, you’ll be hard-pressed to find any bad songs. Songs like the ear-pleasing “Toast Up!” are bountiful, and the good of “To Whom It May Concern.” Far outweigh the bad.

To find flaws in this album would be nitpicking at its finest. "To Whom It May Concern." is an enjoyable project from an artist with superstar potential. You can listen to the album here.
