Concert Review - “11:11 Tour” by Chris Brown

I went to Columbus, OH, to photograph my second arena show. You might remember my first one was Ed Sharron, and I called that journey a different animal. Well, I was there to shoot Chris Brown, and a different animal is an understatement. There were multiple things stacked against me while photographing what I was sure would be a stellar performance. Firstly, shooting from the soundboard with no step stool and being 5’2 is no bueno.

The lighting did me in as well. I am still new at this and learning, plus I had new equipment to figure out. Overall, I think I got some pretty good shots, and I am grateful to be given this opportunity. I know now what I must do if I ever get to shoot Chris again. I’m ready for you and all your movement!

Now, on to the show!

Although I did not have review credentials for this particular 11:11 tour. I witnessed his greatness at the Under the Influence tour in London, and it was easily one of the best concerts I have ever attended. It is safe to say that a time will be had if you attend the 11:11 show. He will give you the work, high-quality production, at least if not more than two hours’ worth of performance with high energy, dancing, and a hell of a setlist.

There are four acts: fire, water, wind, and earth. Each act will have all your old favorites mixed with all your new ones from the 11:11 album, “Go Girlfriend,” “Freak,” Bruce Lee,” Sensational,” Angel Numbers/Ten Toes,”  and more. This show is highly recommended. Grab your tickets because you will not be disappointed.
