Performance Review - Usher

After 24 hours in Vegas, I was there for one thing and one thing only; USHER.

Usher has always been my favorite RnB artist. However, I never had the chance to see him live.

I have been to many concerts in my lifetime, and only one word can describe the night at MGM Park Dolby Theater, LEGENDARY.

Everyone knows Usher's catalog is extensive. He’s been in the game for 26 years, and I have been rocking with him since I was seven. He filled the night with hits-after-hits and covered most if not all, the hits we know and love, plus a little B-side action.

I honestly can not name a song he didn’t perform. The production was crazy good. Between the sets, the lighting, the dancers, the choreography, rollerskating: Everything and everyone was on point.

His vocals are still top-tier, and his dancing is ageless. This performance was a night to remember. I sang my heart out and had a ball.

Besides making eye contact and singing to me, my favorite part of the show was his interactions with the crowd.

There is no bad seat in the venue, but I thought it was cool how he spent 20 minutes on top of the DJ booth while performing.

He let the fans up top get an even closer look at his greatness. The only thing I did not care for was that I was not close enough to touch him.

I highly recommend anyone planning to go to Vegas to put this show on the to-do list.

If you are not planning to go to Vegas but want to see Usher live, I advise you to plan to go to Vegas. This is your chance, and you will not regret it. Because who knows, we may never see Usher on tour again, and if that's the case, I would go to Vegas at least two more times to see this very show.

Yes, it was that good.
